First day of Ballet class!

Well, the girls entered Ballet class this afternoon. They had great fun! Class size was small... only the two of them!... and their teachers were lovely. Most of all, they loved being ballerinas and being dressed the part. We rushed straight home to show daddy and sophie all their new moves :)

British Invasion

This month has seen not one, but two visits from our Scottish family. It was lovely to see them all, we had great fun being tourists with Elizabeth and Wilson, and showing off our lovely daughters to Jim and Margaret. Here's hoping they had fun in America too!

Preschool Project

well, the girls have started preschool again this year. they go three mornings a week, and spend almost 3 hours there in a class of 10 4 year olds. their first project was to come back with a page full of recent family photos that they'll hang up and be able to talk about all year. well, it was hard to choose which photos! but here is what i came up with... too much??

A new pressie for me!

I went shopping on ebay the other day, and was able to get a new lens for my camera! Hours and hours of fun for me... though I'm not sure how the girls feel about it :) I'm hoping you all check out the rest of the photos from today in this album as well. I've been photographing everything from the girls, to their toys, to the fruit in the bowl! What fun!

Here is Kieran William Howes, born 3 September 2008 at 12.40pm (lunchtime). He's a real whopper - 10 pounds 4 ounces - and spent three hours solid feeding this afternoon.
